Disclaimer: Gaia*Modo is a different company than Gaianotes. These paints work with their brand on thinner along with Mr.Hobby Leveling Thinner or Gaianotes T-07 Moderate Thinner. Using regular lacquer thinner will not work.
This is a 3 step system. First, select the base color orange (11) or pink (12) and airbrush the shadows. Then do an overall coat of Bright Flesh (14) which is a semi-clear white/pink paint. And finally, an over coat of Flesh Effect (17) a satin finish paint with very faint pink tones.
Using the orange base leads to a nice sort of warm tone; while pink leads to a very cool/pink tone. The end results are very bright and work great for vivid color schemes but aren’t easily adaptable for realistic tones.
